THE OFFICIAL VENUE: VOCO & VERDE SPORTS COMPLEX

The 34th European Kendo Championship will be held at the state-of-the-art Voco & Verde Sports Complex in Podgorica. This premium facility offers a unique “all-under-one-roof” experience, providing maximum comfort and convenience for all delegations.

Everything is Interconnected The venue layout is designed so that athletes can move seamlessly between their rooms and the sports halls.

  • There is direct indoor access from Hotel Voco straight into the Competition Arena.
  • The Event Hall (Warm-up area) is located just 30 meters from the Main Hall.
  • The Hotel Verde wing is situated only 100 meters away from the main arena.

MAIN HALL (COMPETITION ARENA) The main stage for the EKC 2026 matches is a highly equipped, FIBA-standard sports hall providing excellent conditions for both competitors and spectators.

  • Spectator Capacity: 1,600 permanent seats + 500 seats on auxiliary retractable stands.
  • Surface: Premium FIBA-standard wooden parquet.
  • Dimensions (Floor area only): 47.30m x 35.50m (1,682 m²).

EVENT HALL (WARM-UP & SAYONARA PARTY) A spacious secondary hall will be strictly dedicated to the athletes’ warm-up routines and will later host the official Sayonara Party.
